Way Cover

A good way of maintaining the new appearance of your machine and good condition of the Saddle Cross Way.

These way covers consist of two pieces of heavy duty neoprene rubber 1/16'' thick. They protect the machines exposed ways from dropped tools, chips, abrasives and cutting oil.

The long piece (or apron) covers the FULL BACK of the mill and the exposed rear portion of the ways. The short piece, covers the exposed front length of the cross ways.

The apron is fitted with a hanging frame that mounts onto the ram horizontal dovetail by sliding it against the turret and secured in this position by the friction provided by the two rubber bumpers properly spaced next to the dovetail cut out.

The HEAVY GAUGE of the neoprene rubber efficiently catches chips and debris and FULLY PROTECTS the paint finish of the machine.
